Samurai Shoelace
Calm Thunder Decaf

Title:

€7,00

This is a decaf coffee that offers a perfect experience, even in the middle of the night. Samurai Shoelace has favoured a CO2 decaffeination process over the typical chemically-processed one, while also roasting it a little darker than medium, in order to retain as much flavour as possible. Like all Peruvian coffees, Calm Thunder is characterised by medium or low acidity, fullness, as well as vibrant flavours and sensations.

*Each box comes with 10 Nespresso®-compatible capsules.

*Any capsules labeled as a ‘sale’ item have a remaining shelf life of 2 to 4 months.

The decaffeinated coffee comes from the Cajamarca region of Peru. Since coffees grown in higher areas have a lower caffeine content, the idea arose to seek out Peruvian green coffee, followed by a chemical-free, sustainable CO2 process. During this process, cleaned green coffee beans are soaked in water and then placed in a pressure chamber, then subject to high-pressure carbon dioxide that dissolves up to 99% of the caffeine.
