Born out of resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, Phoenix Coffee Roastery was founded by Yat on the small, car-free island of Peng Chau in Hong Kong, where a humble bike coffee project gradually evolved into a full-fledged roasting company. Inspired by the iconic Shanghai Phoenix bike brand, Yat built his roastery around the belief that coffee should be casual and accessible to everyone. With a passion for championing lesser-known origins like the Philippines, Yunnan, and Nepal, Phoenix Coffee Roastery is on a mission to shine a light on unseen producers and prove that great coffee can come from anywhere.
